I specialise in all aspects of public law including care proceedings, discharge of care orders, secure accommodation orders and cases involving parties outside the jurisdiction. 

 

I regularly represent parents, grandparents, other family members and am often instructed to represent the interests of the children through their Guardian. I appear in all Courts and have recently been involved in some particularly complex cases in the High Court. I particularly enjoy those cases involving medical issues and have undertaken several  FII cases ( formally known as Munchhausen's Syndrome) which have required the forensic consideration of many volumes of medical records. 

 

I enjoy my work and am able to sensitively engage with those who find the court process difficult and am often involved in cases involving the Official Solicitor.
